The Centre for the Development of Equal Opportunities has launched a project to develop a design solution that promotes a positive social impact and contributes to the creation of economic value.
The project addresses the following problems: a lack of focus on the development and deployment of social innovation, the low uptake of design solutions in business and social activities, and the lack of qualifications and practical skills of early career designers.
During the project, a budding designer will develop a design solution focused on the real needs of the organisation. This design solution will help to add value to the products or services you produce, expand your offer and strengthen your organisation’s competitive advantage in the market. The project will also strengthen the young designer’s practical skills, which will help him/her to succeed further in the creative industries sector.
Project activities will include the development of a design solution, participation in community networking events, presentations and training.
