This initiative will investigate the prevalence of derogatory language towards women in the Belarusian media in order to answer the questions about what meanings and images are established and associated with women in the media outlets. Efforts will also be made to raise awareness among the media representatives on the damage to society caused by derogatory language. The insights of the research will be presented to the public and a discussion among media representatives and experts on the ethical and gender stereotype-discouraging public discourse will be organized.
