Building enhanced approaches to end gender-based violence: Mutual learning and networking in Northern Europe

Project period: 11 September, 2023 - 15 December 2023

Project goal: to enhance and strengthen cooperation, improve mutual knowledge and understanding of the two NGOs working on gender-based violence and exchanging available work experience among the specialists in the same field.

Project objectives:

To strengthen Lithuanian experts’ capacities to better address intersectionality in combating gender stereotypes and prejudices.
Improving practical knowledge on methods and tools to actively engage men in gender equality. To receive insights on work on transforming gender norms by promoting caring masculinities will be transferred into Lithuanian context to enhance practical knowledge on how to advocate for more effective prevention tools to combat gender-based violence.
To expand networking between Icelandic Women’s Rights Association (umbrella organization) and Lithuanian civil society organizations.
