Project goal: to enhance the knowledge and capacities of the school teachers on the issues related to diversity, human rights, equality and equal opportunities for all and introduce the innovative and interactive materials for teachers to improve their skills and help integrating tolerance education into their daily work with students

Project duration: January-May, 2009

Project activities:
– CEA with the cooperation of the Department of National Minorities and Lithuanians Living Abroad under the Government of Lithuania organized and conducted 5 seminars for the teachers of ethnic minority schools in Širvintos, Šalčininkai, Visaginas, Trakai and Vilnius.

– As a results 167 teachers representing 5 different regions were trained and received manual and DVD on diversity, democracy and tolerance. Additionally, the Center for Equality Advancement distributed other literature on equality and equal opportunities for the libraries of the ethnic minority schools
