Project goals: to provide support for women-victims of violence through empowerment and building-up of self-confidence; to offer necessary space for group collective activities which stimulate the post-traumatic healing process and develop a pilot model for survivors’ community building.
Project activities:
– 6 workshops organized in the Vilnius Mother and Child Shelter. These workshops provided a space for women to build a community of survivors of domestic violence through collective craft activities.
– Round-table discussion of women’s NGOs discussing crises centres and shelters that will be organized to give lessons learned during implementation of the pilot model for survivors’ community building and discuss the possibilities of its integration in other social settings.
