The project aims to inform and educate the Lithuanian teachers and students of cooperation and the importance of support for democracy , objectives and benefits for the society by creating educational tool and the concept of its use.
Another aim of the project – a methodological tool ” From theory to practice”, which should help teachers to shape young people’s attitudes to development co-operation. It is extremely important to educate young people on this subject in Lithuania , pay attention to global issues and encouraging them to see the world through different eyes. In an increasingly interdependent world of today’s young generation has to be able to communicate and collaborate with people from different cultures and different traditions . It is important for a young person to understand and analyse our neighbours fortune societies , such as Ukraine , Belarus , Armenia, Georgia and Moldova , not only to learn how to strengthen our ties with allies and partners , but also to learn the lessons of democratic partnership.
The teachers were invited to the training sessions, where were discussed topical issues on cooperation , active learning methods. Methodological tool ” From theory to practice” was also introduced.
The project also created an interactive game of „Letter in a Bottle” , which give an opportunity to discuss poverty and inequality , equal rights for men and women , HIV / AIDS around the world people.
